About Fair Share Partners

Fair Share Financial Services Limited trading as Fair Share Partners provides investment information services via its subscription-based website to assist members to achieve greater financial security.

Why we collect personal information from you?

As a member or potential member of Fair Share Partners we may process your data for a number of reasons:

  • To provide an agreed service to you;
  • To provide you with information about the services we offer.

Fair Share Partners respects your right to privacy and will not collect any personal information about you without your clear knowledge and permission. Any personal information which you provide to Fair Share Partners will be treated strictly in accordance with Irish Data Protection Law and with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) known as the Data Protection Acts 1988-2018. Where data is submitted it will be used for the stated purpose and any reasonably incidental purposes only. We do not sell or distribute your personal information to third parties for purposes of allowing them to market products and services to you.

What personal information do we collect from you?

  • As an annual website subscriber, you will be giving us your full name, email address and full billing address. Stripe will retain your debit/credit card details on behalf of Fair Share Partners to process your future subscription payments.

We require your name so that we can personalise our communications to you. We require your email address so that we can communicate with you. We require your billing address to process online payments.

If you choose to register on the Fair Share Partners website, you enter into a contract with us and agree to provide Fair Share Partners with accurate data as requested. You do not have to provide us with your personal data but failure to do so may mean that we are unable to register you as a member or to provide you with the service you requested. In order for us to maintain the accuracy of our data we ask that you inform us of any changes to your personal details as soon as possible.

How do we collect your personal information?

The information we collect comes primarily from online registration forms, email and online contact. Information is also collected through your use of this website in the form of ‘cookies’.

This cookie policy describes how Fair Share Partners use “cookies” in connection with our website www.fairsharepartners.ie. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer when you visit a website. We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Stripe: We use “persistent” cookies for making credit card transactions on the website. The service is provided by Stripe.com which allows online transactions without storing any debit/credit card information.

You do not have to consent to our use of cookies, you can set your browser settings to reject cookies. These settings are usually found in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your web browser.

Who we share your information with

We do not share your information with third parties other than as set out in this Policy. We work with other companies who help run our business (“Service Providers”). We are required to send information securely to our Service Providers, who are defined as Data Processors, to perform the services you require. Each of the following Service Providers only has access to the information required to perform their services:

  • MembershipWorks (for website membership and content management system)
  • Stripe (for payment purposes only)

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Other Service Providers: We may share personal information with other Service Providers, where necessary to provide our services to you. All of our Service Providers will be obliged to keep your personal information safe and secure. Communicating via the internet and sending information to you by other means necessarily involves your personal information passing through or being handled by third-parties.
  • Legal and safety: In certain instances, we may share information where we reasonably believe that it is necessary for legal reasons, to defend our legal rights, to enforce our terms or to protect our rights, property, users, customers or the safety of any person. For example, we may provide personal information where ordered by a court to do so.

At all times Fair Share Partners will control and remain responsible for the use of your personal data.

How long will we retain your data for?

Fair Share Partners will only hold your personal information for the duration necessary to allow us to provide the services that you have requested or for any additional period as required for legal purposes.

Your rights in relation to your personal information

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
